During his childhood, Lucas has to watch his father run over his best friend and dispose of it without further ado. Years later, he returns to his home country with friends to vacate his parents' house. The group is expected by the neighbor — the father of the deceased child. Reunion is usually a pleasure. In the case of Lucas and his neighbor, however, less so.

In 2024, France is well represented at the festival. In addition to SCHLITTER, we also show SHE IS CONANN, LE VOURDALAK, GUEULES NOIRES, UN COUTEAU DANS LE COEUR and VERMINES. SCHLITTER is a short, mean, rough film and could well and gladly include the “Kill of the Year”. Your assessment of this is absolutely welcome! SCHLITTER takes a lot of time with the escalation, but then delivers what you are used to from the new French harshness of the 2000s.
