The fourth Double Fearture season is ending in the land of rocketworms. Once oversized in desert sand and once small and slimy and out of this world. TREMORS and SLITHER is our grand finale before the next BRUGGGORE film festival finally starts in April!

In 1990, Ron Underwood with TREMORS landed a cinematic hit and started a franchise that is still being spun on today. What is particularly pleasing about the matter is that back then you were still able to produce high-quality trash and even recruit actors like Kevin Bacon in return. However, it was not Bacon who became the real star of the series, but Michael Gross, who as Burt Gummer becomes a veritable monster worm killing machine. Together with other villagers, he must defend himself against oversized, underground man-eaters in a remote desert village. Party guarantee!

It gets much slimier at SLITHER by fantasy expert James Gunn (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 1-3, THE SUICIDE SQUAD, PEACEMAKER or SUPER). This is also about a small town somewhere in the USA. Its inhabitants are afflicted by alien worms and transformed into disgusting mutants in rows. Elizabeth Banks and Nathan Fillion take up the fight. You can be disgusted and have fun. And that's all you need for a successful Saturday afternoon.
