Jaws — anyone who doesn't know this name must have grown up without a TV all their life. Steven Spielberg single-handedly managed to destroy the reputation of sharks in 1975. But he also created a timeless classic that is still unmatched today in many ways. JAWS is not only told in a gripping way, cleverly written and implemented very effectively. He also laid the foundation for an endless wave of marine movie monsters that still delight us today.

DEEP BLUE SEA brings shark horror to a new level. Not necessarily better. But definitely extremely entertaining. Here, the super evil, floating killer machine is not only damn big, but also damn clever. Much smarter than most victims who get skimmed during the movie.
