How creative: DÈMONI and DÈMONI 2 as Double Fearture. Perhaps Brugggore has run out of ideas after all... No, because who of us has already been lucky enough to see the classics by Lamberto Bava and Dario Argento in the cinema? Just now!

You leave it up to the German distributors to make a simple matter complicated. DEMONI was released here as DAEMONI 2, while DÈMONI 2 — who would have thought that — was marketed as DEMONS. So again in order: DAEMONS 2 is the first part of the series and was therefore released before DEMONS. DÄMONEN 2, the first of the two films, is about the preview of an ominous horror film at Berlin's Metropol cinema. The demons on the screen seem to be increasingly expanding beyond the cinema screen and there is a bloodbath, peppered with rich, handmade special effects and lovely demon masks.

DEMONI 2 (i.e. simply DEMONS for the German-speaking people among us) indirectly follows on from part two, uh, no, one, and moves the scene to a high-rise building. There, too, the mean demons are brought to life and attack those residents who can no longer flee from the house for reasons of dramaturgy. Argento fans are rewarded twice: Once again, the screenplay was created in collaboration with Dario Argento, while his daughter Asia Argento makes her film debut.
