Blood suckers in the snow

The Christmas spirit is rising, the snow is falling outside (not here, but somewhere safe) and dark red blood turns the cold white. With LET THE RIGHT ONE IN and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, we let go of vampires.

LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (2008), or LÅT DEN RÄTTE KOMMA IN in the Swedish original, was celebrated by audiences and critics alike. Little Oscar is pricked at school when the strange girl Eli appears in the neighborhood. She likes to hang out at night and she and her father keep a dark secret. This is Nordic horror at its best and a must for vampire fans anyway!

30 DAYS OF NIGHT, on the other hand, is more of a popcorn horror. A group of bloodthirsty vampires attack a town in Alaska, in which darkness reigns for thirty days of all days. The ideal “breeding ground” for bloodsuckers. Josh Hartnett and Melissa George plunge into the bloodthirsty fight for survival. The comic book version doesn't skimp on blood fountains and action and is recommended to anyone who likes a harder pace.
