Trizombie

It is a difficult day for the residents of a dormitory for people with Down syndrome. While a good friend is allowed to move to her own home, a virus turns all caregivers into zombies. The heroines and heroes must set out alone to save their girlfriend and avoid hordes of bloodthirsty people without an additional chromosome 21.

In Belgium, TRIZOMBIE was originally published as a web series. The lovely production was so well received that they cut a feature length film from it. With a lot of humor, charm and sensitivity, TRIZOMBIE addresses the challenges of its performers, who are all people with Down syndrome. In the zombie apocalypse, they face particular challenges. They have never been alone out in the wild, free world, they can't (yet) drive, and thy have trouble assessing dangers and on top, they have to face a variety of new feelings.
