Trim Season

The dream vacation job of all stoners mutates into a brutal fight for survival: A motley group of young people want to make quick money on a remote marijuana farm. However, they soon discover the dark secrets of the place, which are mysteriously connected to Mona, the mysterious owner of the plantation.

TRIM SEASON is the second feature film by director Ariel Vida and impresses with its stylish look and strong set design. The film is also convincing in terms of acting. The charismatic yet threatening boss Mona, played by Jane Badler, who is likely to be known to 80s series fans for her role in “V”, is particularly appealing here.

If a good horror movie were Weed, this movie would clearly be a joint and not a split.
