The Dentist

Successful dentist is betrayed by his wife. He doesn't like it. Reason enough to vent his frustration on a few innocent teeth.

Somewhere between the 80ies and 00ies, the name Brian Yuzna was representative of great horror cinema. Explicit effects and crazy ideas were (and are) his trademark. As the foster father of Re-Animator (1985) and creator of SOCIETY (1989), BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR (1990) or RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD III (1993), among others, he had already made a name for himself before he had enough of toothless entertainment. With THE DENTIST, he did for dentists what JAWS did for sharks: destroy the reputation of an entire (professional) species. Not only horror fans (of that time) feared the work, but also dental practices around the world.

Anyone who has always wondered whether what sounds so terrible at the dentist also looks so terrible in their mouth will find the most important answers here. So you'd better keep your hands off the dentist's wife, especially if her name is Mrs. Alan.

Beware! [Sexual Content] [Sexual Assault] [Substance Abuse] [Child Abuse] [Animal Cruelty]

For years, I was extremely hateful against dentists because in my childhood I had just the same dentist as the dentist in THE DENTIST is one. Yes, he hurt me! I was in pain! He was rough and it often bled a lot. It was torture and THE DENTIST didn't improve my feelings about dentists. Until I found this: Zahnarztpraxis Spiez AG, Schlösslistrasse 3, 3700 Spiez.
