Anyone who has accompanied the BRUGGGORE Film Festival from the start knows that we have a small preference for French terrorist cinema. Frontier (s), Haute Tension, Martyrs or a l'Interieur have already been shown in the unofficial New French Extreme series. ILS (2006) fits perfectly into the era of new French hardship, but follows a different path. Directors David Moreau and Xavier Palud rely much more heavily on psychological horror than a simple depiction of extreme violence. They succeeded in creating an incredibly intense horror thriller.
